For starters: Rays at Yankees, looking for more with Moore



UPDATE, 12:30: Maddon noted Zobrist tool a foul ball off his right foot on Saturday and struggles against Hughes and that Johnson has been swinging well and decided it was a good time for a day off. .. Maddon will try hard to use  Joel Peralta, who last pitched July 20.

UPDATE, 10:50: The Rays have Luke Scott back in their lineup, though Ben Zobrist has the day off. And the Yankees have Derek Jeter back.

DEVELOPING: The red-hot Rays look to continue their roll and complete a sweep of the Yankees today.

And they have LHP Matt Moore. coming off his first complete game, on the mound.

The Yankees counter with RHP Phil Hughes, who has been struggling.

The Rays have won 24 of 29 and hold a half-game lead over the Red Sox, whom they face again in Boston on Monday in a makeup of Thursday's rain out.

Rays DH Luke Scott, who sat out Saturday with back stiffness, said he will be available today.

There was a big crowd forming early outside the stadium as the Yankees are giving out a bobblehead and honoring Hideki Matsui, who finshed his career with the Rays but will sign a one-day contract and retire as a Yankee.
