Jake Odorizzi is coming off a rough start in Baltimore where he felt he had none of his pitches working but battled through five innings allowing only one run.

UPDATE, 12:03: With his next appearance, RHP Joel Peralta will tie Esteban Yan for the most by any pitcher in Rays history at 266. ... The Rays haven't won more than four straight since a 7-game streak last September, and have only one three-game sweep this season, of Boston.

UPDATE, 11:57: Maddon wanted to get Ben Zobrist off his feet today, so Zobrist is the DH and Sean Rodriguez starts at SS for the first time this season.

The Yankees are without CF Jacoby Ellsbury, who is in need of a day off according to manager Joe Girardi, and 1B Mark Teixeira, who had a knee drained.
