DEVELOPING: The Rays get to the end of another long road trip today with the chance to finish with a .500 record if they beat the Yankees today.

To do so, they likely will need LHP Erik Bedard to give them a strong start, as the bullpen has been overworked due to repeated failures. Saturday was the 14th time in the last 19 games a Rays starter didn't go more than five innings.

Manager Joe Maddon said after the game they were considering a roster move to help the bullpen, but there has been annoucement or indication that they did so.

Lineups when available.
