For starters, Rays vs. Angels

UPDATE, 5:39: LHP Drew Smyly arrived at Tropicana Field at about 4 p.m. today - a few minutes too late for the team photograph. He said he's excited to be with the Rays and hopes no one is upset he was given No. 33 - last worn by James Shields.

Evan Longoria will start at DH tonight. Manager Joe Maddon said Longoria's knee might have been a little sore after colliding with an umpire

OF Wil Myers took more swings today and is scheduled to take batting practice on the field Monday in Port Charlotte. Barring any setbacks, he would go to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday to work out for a few days and could begin his rehab assignment next weekend.

C Ryan Hanigan is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment as a DH today for the Class A Stone Crabs.
