Developing: The Rays will wrap up a three-game series - and the first half of their season - as they face the Astros in a Sunday matinee at Tropicana Field.

Tampa Bay (54-41) has won nine of its last 10 games, assuring it'll go into the All-Star break in second place in the American League East, and as of right now, 3 1/2 games behind first-place Boston.

RHP Chris Archer will start for the Rays, having continued to make solid progress this past month with his calmness and command. Veteran LHP Erik Bedard will throw for the Astros.

RHP Alex Cobb (mild concussion) will take a big step in his recovery today as he throws a live batting practice session at noon. If all goes well, he'll likely move on to a simulated game or two before starting a rehab assignment, targeting an early August return.

Lineups, and more, to come.
