UPDATE, 10:50: Heads up if you are coming down for the game, skies look dark and now sounds like rain could be here around 1.

UPDATE, 8:55: David Price, whose now-famous dog is known as Astro, posted this tweet this morning:

"Astro isn't too sure about me pitching against the Astros today...he said make sure I don't hit anyone."

UPDATE, 8:32: As of now, the Rays are expecting the game to start on time with the rain not arriving until mid-afternoon.

Pena is not on the travel squad which, with the Astros having a split squad, don't include many familiar names at all.

DEVELOPING: The Rays are set to the host the Houston Astros - who are now an American League team - this afternoon, with ace David Price and 3B Evan Longoria set to make their spring debuts.

Weather permitting.

Showers are forecast for Port Charlotte this afternoon, but it's not clear what impact, if any, that could have on the game.

Also unknown as of now is whether former Ray Carlos Pena, who signed with Houston, will make the trip.
