UPDATE, 3:39: With OF David DeJesus on the DL with a left hand fracture, OF Brandon Guyer was called up from Triple-A and goes right into the lineup tonight for the Rays.

DEVELOPING: The Rays will be back at Tropicana Field early today for some scheduled fundamental drills – likely pitchers fielding practice and hitting. Physical and mental errors proved costly in Wednesday night’s 2-0 loss to Baltimore.

The Rays open their four-game series against Houston tonight, with RHP Chris Archer facing off against RHP Collin McHugh. Archer is trying to rebound from his shortest outing of the year – six runs allowed in three innings against the Astros last week.
