DEVELOPING: The Rays open their final homestand of the season tonight against the AL East champion Blue Jays with a chance to finish with a .500 record if they can sweep the series.
The Jays are still playing for something as well, the chance to finish ahead of Kansas City and have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.
RHP Erasmo Ramirez will be on the mound for the Rays tonight; veteran LHP Mark Buehrle for the Jays.
The Rays lineup has somewhat of an unusual look, with Tim Beckham playing 3B as team MVP Logan Forsythe returns to second after sitting out the last two games, and Joey Butler getting a start in LF.
