DEVELOPING: The rolling Rays return to the Trop tonight to face the Diamondbacks, and there could be some intrigue with the deadline for non-waiver trades looming at 4 p.m.

RHP Jesse Crain, acquired on Monday, is expected to arrive today and continue the recovery from a right shoulder strain. Sounds like INF Ryan Roberts may be in the house, called up on the taxi squad in case of a DL move.

The Rays, meanwhile, will start RHP Jeremy Hellickson, who has won his last six decisions (over seven starts). He'll try to follow the lead of RHP Roberto Hernandez, who threw a complete-game in Monday's win.

Manager Joe Maddon hinted they could have an announcement today regarding their starting pitchers going forward, with the possibility of them going to a four-man rotation in early August due to all the off-days.

Rookie RF Wil Myers is riding an 11-game hitting streak.

Lineups, and more, to come.
