For starters: Rays vs. Jays, with a similar lineup

Curt Casali will start at catcher tonight, rather than Hank Conger.

Curt Casali will start at catcher tonight, rather than Hank Conger.

UPDATE, 5:19: Cash said he will plan to use Conger and Casali on a somewhat equal basis, based more on their matchup with the opposing starter rather than pairing with some of their own. ... Cash spent some time catching knuckleballer Tim Wakefield while in Boston, but said there is no ideal or universal plan: "Simple approach - don't overdo it.''

UPDATE, 3:17:
Blue Jays lineup also similar except for the catcher:

Pillar cf,
Donaldson 3b,
Bautista rf,
Encarnacion dh,
Tulowitzki ss,
Colabello 1b,
Saunders lf,
Goins 2b,
Thole c,

DEVELOPING: After Sunday's disappointing opening-day loss, the Rays are set for Game 2 of their 162-game marathon tonight when they take on the Blue Jays again at 7:10.

Manager Kevin Cash will run out a similar lineup to Sunday, with the only change being Curt Casali starting at catcher rather than Hank Conger. With the Blue Jays starting knuckleballer R.A. Dickey, the matchups are often less of a factor.

LHP Drew Smyly, who missed most of last season with shoulder issues but has been very good when healthy, will start for the Rays.

Here is the Rays' lineup:

Forsythe 2b
Morrison 1b
Longoria 3b
Dickerson dh
Jennings lf
Miller ss
Souza rf
Kiermaier cf
Casali c
Smyly p
