UPDATE, 11:27 Maddon said Moore will work in sim game today to limit his pitches since he'll go next time on one day less rest. ... Maddon said decision on 5th starter not likely until after both Hernandez, who starts today, and Niemann tomorrow pitch one more time.

Matt Moore, who was to start Wednesday, will throw in a simulated game at around noon. Jose Molina, just back from the WBC, will get at-bats in a minor-league game then play on Friday for the Rays.

DEVELOPING: After being rained out Wednesday after driving down to Fort Myers, the Rays are back in Port Charlotte today under sunny skies to the play the Blue Jays.

Roberto Hernandez will be on the mound in an attempt to further his bid for the fifth spot in the rotation, as the Rays will have Wednesday's scheduled starter, Matt Moore, work on a back field or in a minor-league game.

The Rays are expected to use most of their regulars today in what could be a preview, or at least a close fascimile, of the opening day batting order.

The Jays are bringing slugger Jose Bautista.
