UPDATE, 5:52. The Rays scratched C Ryan Hanigan from tonight's start due to soreness in his left side. The new lineup is below:

UPDATE, 3:27: As expected, the Rays activated SS Yunel Escobar (shoulder) from the disabled list. He takes the roster spot of LHP Jake McGee, who moved to the paternity list. McGee's wife, Morgan, gave birth to their first child, daughter Rowen Beth McGee, on Thursday's day off.

DEVELOPING: After Thursday’s day off, the Rays are back at Tropicana Field for the first day of a three-game series – their last one before the All-Star break – against Toronto.

RHP Chris Archer (5-5, 3.16) will face off against Blue Jays LHP Mark Buehrle (10-6, 2.60).

The Rays are expected to make at least one roster move today – we’ll have news on that and lineups when we get them.
