For starters: Rays vs. Orioles, with Archer on mound
UPDATE, 3:23: Johnson is back in the Rays lineup, having missed the last two games with back tightness.
DEVELOPING: After a 5-3 roadtrip that ended with a loss in Detroit, the Rays are back at the Trop tonight to open a 10-game homestand that has them facing the Orioles, the Red Sox and the Royals.
RHP Chris Archer, who was disappointing in his season debut on Saturday in Cleveland, will be on the mound for the Rays tonight, taking what was David Price's place in the rotation.
The Rays bats were pretty much shut down by the Tigers pitching, so there will be some talk about whether their offense is cooling off or Detroit was that good.
Also, today should be a big step in Price's recovery, as he is supposed to throw his first bullpen session since going on the DL on May 16.
Two other injured related notes for the Rays, OF Kelly Johnson sat out the last two games due to back tightness but is supposed to be available, and LHP Jake McGee said he expects to be fine after leaving Thursday's game when he was hit on the shin by a ball.
Lineups when available.
