UPDATE, 5:51: The Rays decided to scratch Duffy from tonight's lineup after all, with Nick Franklin going to SS now and Steven Souza taking over in RF.

Here is the new lineup:

DEVELOPING: Having already made headlines with the surprising decision to fire hitting coach Derek Shelton with a month left, the Rays also have a game to play against the Orioles, and they will have 3B Evan Longoria in the lineup.

Longoria's status was questionable after he left Monday's game in the fifth inning due to increasing soreness in his right hand, having been hit by a pitch in the first.

The Rays will start RHP Jake Odorizzi, who has some of the best numbers of any pitcher in the AL since the All-Star break. The Orioles are starting RHP Yovani Gallardo.

Also, Matt Duffy is at SS tonight as the plan is for him to play a few more days and then be shut down to have surgerr on his sore left heel.
