UPDATE, 9:32: Rodriguez said the Rays told him coming in to camp to expect to play more in the outfield, so he has been prepared. And he likes center just fine. "I'll do my best, try to put a good either Desmond (Jennings) or Sam Fuld impression out there.''

DEVELOPING: The Rays are back in Port Charlotte today for a 1:05 p.m. game against the Orioles.

RHP Alex Cobb will make the start, with Fernando Rodney and Juan Sandoval among the schedueld relievers.

Today looks to be the last appearances for INF/OF Ben Zobrist and C Jose Molina before they leave for the World Baseball Classic. Also heading out are Rodney, Ceasr Ramos and Alex Torres.
