For starters: Rays vs. Padres, with Forsythe scratched
UPDATE, 5:20: LHP Enny Romero (back strain) will make a rehab start on Thursday for advanced Class A Charlotte, and then be re-evaluated. In addition to resting his back, Romero worked on changing his mechanics to better hide the ball and be on top of it more. ... RHP Chase Whitley (Tommy John surgery) makes his final rehab start tonight for the Stone Crabs, then will come back to St. Pete and either be activated or optioned to the minors to keep building innings. ... RHP Alex Cobb (TJS) also starts tonight and will make one or two more before rejoining the team. ... Cash said they will keep the rotation in order after Thursday's off-day, so the starters vs. the Rangers will be RHP Matt Andriese, RHP Jake Odorizzi and LHP Drew Smyly.
UPDATE, 5:18: 2B Logan Forsythe was scratched from the Rays lineup due to back spasms and will be replaced by Nick Franklin.
