UPDATE, 9:58: CF Kevin Kiermaier, RHP Chris Archer and LHP Matt Moore spoke to the 140 players assembled for the first workout of minor-league camp. ... Though SS Brad Miller made 2 throwing errors last night, bench/infield coach Tom Foley said they are still in the evaluating process of working to simplify his mechanics. ... Cash joked that with Saturday being a night game in Sarasota and the bus not getting back until around 11 p.m., "I haven't been up that late in a while.''

The Rays lineup was as expected. Relievers scheduled to follow Odorizzi today include Ryan Webb, Dana Eveland, Brad Boxberger, Danny Farquhar, Blake Snell, Eddie Gamboa.

DEVELOPING: After a long night game in Sarasota, the Rays are back in Port Charlotte today for a 1:05 p.m. game against the Twins.

RHP Jake Odorizzi, who worked a crisp, eight-pitch inning in Wednesday's opener, will be on the mound.
