UPDATE, 5:13: Wil Myers is back in the Rays lineup tonight but Matt Joyce is out, as manager Joe Maddon felt Kelly Johnson was a better match with Correia.  Maddon said Joyce still will be the primary leftfielder, and will play on Thursday. ... Myers said he felt good after taking the day to work on his swing and is optimistic going into tonight's game. ... Maddon said he did not think Longoria's struggles at the plate are related to his foot problem, but a matter of expanding his strike zone. ... RHP Alex Cobb will throw his third bullpen session on Thursday; RHP Brandon Gomes will also throw. ... Maddon said he still had not heard from MLB officials about adding Matt Moore to the AL All-Star team but still expects to.

DEVELOPING: The Rays look to extend their current winning streak to a season-high seven games tonight as they take on the Twins.

And they will have RHP Jeremy Hellickson, who has been on a pretty good roll himself. on the mound.

The Twins are starting RHP Kevin Correia.

Rays rookie OF Wil Myers is expected back in the lineup tonight after getting Tuesday off as he tries to make some adjutsments in his swing.

A few other notes about the Rays hot streak:  They have won 10 of their last 11 and 13 of their last 16 to improve to a season-high 11 games over .500. Their six-game streak is the longest active winning streak in the majors, and is the third time they have gotten to six this season, also May 8-14 and May 26-31.

Rays starting pitchers have allowed 3 earned runs or less in their last 11 games, extending a season-long streak, and have worked at least 6 IP in 18 of their last 20 games.
