For starters: Rays vs. White Sox with no Forsythe, Kiermaier
UPDATE, 4:09: Both Forsythe and Kiermaier said they were a little sore today but both are available to play tonight and expect to be back in the lineup on Sunday. With Monday off and a night game on Tuesday in Boston, the Rays could be tempted to give them extra rest by waiting. ... Kiermaier said he felt fortunate that neither was hurt worse given how hard they were running and collided. ... Kiermaier also said he will thrilled to received his platinum glove award from Rawlings before tonight's game, and that he likes the resemblance of his bobblehead. ... Cash said he will empty the bullpen if needed, but he wouldn't be surprised to get 60-65 pitches out of Ramirez tonight. ... The Rays lost some valuable catching depth when Luke Maile was placed on the 7-day DL at Durham. With no other healthy catchers on the 40-man roster, they would have to add just-acquired Carlos Corporan if either Casali or Conger got hurt.
White Sox lineup:
DEVELOPING: Coming off a tough 1-0 loss, the Rays take on the White Sox tonight and don't have either 2B Logan Forsythe or CF Kevin Kiermaier in the lineup.
Both left Friday's game after a fourth-inning collision, Forsythe with a sore left hip and lower leg, Kiermaier with what the team called a "head contusion.''
Both are on the lineup card however, so it would appear they are not headed to the DL, or at least not initially.
RHP Erasmo Ramirez will start for the Rays, as they needed a fifth starter for the first time this season.
