Johnny Field's two-out, bases loaded double to left center was the decisive blow for the Rays, who watched seven pitchers including starter Matt Moore combine for a four-hitter. Alex Colome pitched a perfect ninth for the save.

"Matt Moore was outstanding," Manager Kevin Cash said.

"We've talked about all spring how he's been really a bright spot for us coming into camp, and he just continues to do that. He's really efficient. I mean his stuff looks powerful, kind of effortlessly, but very powerful."

Cash said RHP Matt Andriese has been bumped from his scheduled start Sunday at Dunedin due to left abdominal tightness. Taylor Guerrieri replaces him.

UPDATE, 3 P.M. LHP Matt Moore worked 3 2/3 sharp, scoreless innings against a Yankees split squad bereft of regulars except for RF Carlos Beltran.

In his second start of spring, Moore allowed two first-inning hits before retiring the final nine batters he faced. He struck out three and walked none, with 32 of his 49 pitches going for strikes.

UPDATE, noon
Several Rays coaches and players -- including Kevin Cash, Richie Shaffer and Tom Foley -- had their heads shaved this morning as part of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation's "Cut for a Cure" annual promotion.

Among those opting for a cash donation in lieu of locks: RHP Chris Archer and OF Taylor Motter, owners of two of the club's more prominent coiffures.

"There's a point of no return over there," Motter said, pointing at the row of seated Rays getting shaved on a terrace behind the right field wall. "My hair is my thing."

UPDATE, 9:40 a.m.
Manager Kevin Cash said he anticipates the club's final travel roster for the March 22 game in Cuba to be determined by the end of the weekend.

"Probably in the next two days we'll have some stuff close to finalizing," he said. "I think there's a chance we'll leave some openings at the back just in case for injury and to cover us a little bit. But here in the next two days we should have a pretty good idea on who's going on that trip."
