UPDATE, 5:51: After flying in from Kansas City on a private chartered jet, DeJesus will be in the starting lineup tonight for the Rays. Wil Myers is not, as Maddon said he wanted to give him back to back days off. ... DeJesus is likely to play most days vs. RHPs. ... Maddon seemed quite enthused by addition of Delmon Young as well, which likely doesn't happen until Sept. 1. ... Maddon reiterated his feelings that the A-Rod drama has gotten too much traction and he just wants his guys to play a normal game with no special attention toward A-Rod. .. Maddon said the Rays will start RHP Jeremy Hellickson on Monday in Kansas City, but that the starter for Tuesday - which is Roberto Hernandez's day - was still being "bandied about.''

DEVELOPING: The Rays will have a slightly different look when they take the field tonight against the Yankees, having acquired OF David DeJesus from the Nats.

The Rays are coming off a loss to the Orioles on Wednesday, and are facing a red-hot Yankees team.

Chris Archer, who tossed a two-hit shutout at the Yankees on July 27, will be on the mound for the Rays against New York's Hiroki Kuroda.

DeJesus is expected to join the Rays today; they designated OF Jason Bourgeois for assignment to make room.
