For starters: Rays vs. Yankees, with Moore on the mound
UPDATE, 2:04: Jennings is back in the Rays lineup, and Maddon has opted for a bit of an unusual move against a lefty starter, moving lefty swinger Luke Scott up in the order to 3rd and dropping switch-hitting Ben Zobrist to fifth., His thinking was that it was more important to get more protection for cleanup hitter Evan Longoria than to have Zobrist on base in front of him. Maddod did say that Scott does a good job against lefties.
Maddon also reiterated that Roberto Hernandez will make his next start on Wednesday in Miami. Hernandez did not take batting practice with the other starters on Saturday, but Maddon said that was because he was sore and not reflective of a change in plans.
UPDATE, 12:34: The Yanks are calling up OF Brennan Boesch after putting Granderson on the DL.
DEVELOPING: After a 9-4 loss to the Yankees on Friday, the Rays are back at this afternoon with LHP Matt Moore on the mound seeking to push his record to 9-0.
CF Desmond Jennings is expected back in the Rays lineup today after getting Friday off.
The Yankees are starting rookie LHP Vidal Nuno.
Lineups shortly, as the Yankees will have to replace OF Curtis Granderson, who sustained a broken knuckle on his left pinkie when hit by a pitch in Friday's game.
