DEVELOPING: It's raining this morning in Port Charlotte, but press box czar Dukes Knutson predicts the skies will clear and there will be baseball at, or around, 1 p.m, between the Rays and the Yankees.

The Rays are set to send Alex Cobb to the mound, against a squad of mostly Yankees minor-leaguers and fringe players. One of the more recognizable names on their travel squad is Dan Johnson, the 1B/DH who has hit two of the biggest homers in Rays history.

Coming off Monday's 10-inning night game, the Rays have a late report time today and no batting practice, so lineups and updates are still to come.
