Hak-Ju Lee among minor leaguers becoming free agents

SS Hak-Ju Lee, the centerpiece of return in the January 2011 trade that sent Matt Garza to the Cubs, is among 17 Rays minor leaguers who are now free agents. The Rays had already parted ways with Lee once, designating him for assignment Sept. 1 to clear a space on the 40-man roster, but he cleared waivers and returned to the organization. LHP Jeff Beliveau and INF Jake Elmore, dropped from the 40-man roster last week, are also free agents.
