As Friday's pre-workout team meeeting was wrapping up, RHP Chris Archer stood up to make a special presentation, a painting he had made of Kevin Kiermaier's home-run robbing catch that was a gift from the team in honor of the centerfielder's award-winning season.

"He was pretty surprised,'' Archer said. "He probably forgot that he even won the Gold Glove. It's important that we recognize his hard work and his achievements. As a group we thought it would be important to congratulate him and present him with something he'll always be able to remember that season with.''

Kiermaier was thrilled: "It looks phenomenal. So realistic. That's definitely going up on one of the walls at my place pretty soon. That's a really cool thing.''
