Rays 3B Evan Longoria and girlfriend Jaime Edmondson posted on their Twitter accounts Saturday night that daughter Elle, born six weeks early on Feb. 20, was released from the hospital.

"Elle finally came home tonight,'' Longoria posted.

Edmondson posted a photo of Longoria feeding Elle, who was 4 pounds, 1 ounce at birth, for the first time. The baby was born and remained hospitalized in Boca Raton.

Longoria again thanked fans for their well-wishes and wrote: "Now we look forward to seeing you all at the Trop!"
