Minor-leaguer Disla suspended 50 games
UPDATE, 4:29: Disla is 17, was just signed in March and has not played a pro game.
DEVELOPING: Rays minor-leaguer RHP Jose Disla was suspended for 50 games after testing positive for the performance-enhancing substances Metabolites of Stanozolol and Nandrolone, according to an MLB release.
Disla is on the roster of the Rays Dominican Summer League team, per MLB. He did not pitch for the Rays last season, and does not appear in this year's media guide.
The suspension will be effective at the start of the DSL season.
Disla is the eighth Rays minor-leaguer to be suspended for drug-related reasons since the start of last season.
