Molina's 2-year deal is for $4.5-million

The Rays’ deal to bring back C Jose Molina is set to be finalized this week, and when it is officially announced in the next few days, expect it to be for $4.5-million over two years.
Molina is expected to get $1.75-million in 2014 (a slight pay cut from 2013, when he made $1.8-million) and then $2.75-million in 2015, with the full contract guaranteed.
Molina is set to travel to the Tampa Bay area to take a physical Monday or Tuesday, and once that is complete the deal is expected to be official.
Molina also will make a contribution to the Rays Baseball Foundation, as is standard for players who sign multi-year deals.
