Rays broadcaster Wills, clubhouse manager Gallagher honored
Rays visiting clubhouse manager Guy Gallagher and radio broadcaster Dave Wills were among the inductees Friday into the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame, housed at Foley's NY Pub & Restaurant.
Gallagher and Wills shared the honor Friday with former big-leaguer Kevin Millar, Mets radio reporter Ed Coleman, and Andy Leonard, the native of Ireland to play in the majors.
Bar owner Shaun Clancy started the Hall in 2008 to honor players. coaches, executives, journalists and others involved in the game of Irish descent, with inductees chosen by past winners and a panel of baseball historians.
