UPDATE, 10:43: The Rays have told Wright and Oviedo they will be added to the 40-man roster. That means Wright will be on the team and Oviedo on the DL. Wright gets $1-million plus incentives; Oviedo gets the minimum this year and the Rays hold a 2014 option for $2-million plus incentives.

Wright and Oviedo will be added to the roster by Sunday. The Rays will have to make room on the 40-man roster, but potentially only one spot if they put Oviedo on first and then put him on the 60-day DL and add Wright.

DEVELOPING:  With RHP Brandon Gomes sent to the minors this morning, the Rays have essentially set their final 25-man roster, assuming OF Sam Fuld and DH Luke Scott are healthy.

The Rays have 27 players left in camp, with RHP Jamey Wright to be added to the roster; RHP Juan Carlos Oviedo, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery, headed to the DL; and C Craig Albernaz back to the minors.

So that leaves the Rays with 25, though they have until Sunday at 3 p.m. to submit their official roster.

Here are the 25:

Pitchers (12): Alex Cobb, Kyle Farnsworth, Jeremy Hellickson, Roberto Hernandez, Jake McGee, Matt Moore, Jeff Niemann, Joel Peralta. David Price, Cesar Ramos, Fernando Rodney, Jamey Wright-x

Catchers (2): Jose Lobaton, Jose Molina

Infielders (6): Yunel Escobar, Kelly Johnson, James Loney, Evan Longoria, Ryan Roberts, Sean Rodriguez

Outfielders (5): Sam Fuld, Desmond Jennings, Matt Joyce, Luke Scott, Ben Zobrist
