ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper, Jr. said star Everette Brown is a 4-3 defensive end could position himself “solidly in the early to mid first round’’ with a good workout at week’s NFL Scouting Combine.
When asked if quarterback Drew Weatherford, a three-year starter only to lose his job before the 2008 season and play sparingly this past year, had any shot to make a NFL team, Kiper was succinct:
“I don’t think so. No.’’
