Florida State receiver Cameron Wade fails to show in court, has a warrant out for his arrest
Florida State receiver Cameron Wade didn't make it to court for a Wednesday morning pre-trial hearing on a misdemeanor battery charge and has a warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear.
Cameron Wade was arrested in November along with fellow Florida State receiver Bert Reed (also one count of misdemeanor batter) in wake of a brawl with members of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. According to Florida State University police, Wade threw the first punch when he thought a teammate was about to be struck. FSU police continue to investigate the fight in which a young woman was struck in the face by a chair that was hurled by a still unidentified person.
