Florida State coach Bobby Bowden won't be retiring this year, says son Terry
The Sporting News came out with ACC predictions and went to experts who might have some inside information, such as North Alabama coach Terry Bowden to chime in on the prediction that his dad, Florida State coach Bobby Bowden will retire at the end of the 2009 season.
Said Terry Bowden: "That's false. How do I know? Because I just asked him and he told me so. He said, 'I'm not retiring at the end of the season.' Now there may be a new president at the school and he may not want him or (coach-in-waiting) Jimbo Fisher. We don't know that. I do know Christian Ponder is a more mature and confident quarterback, and they'll win the Atlantic Division."
Here's the rest of the story from the Sporting News.
