Florida State could add a stellar linebacker prospect, Glen Stanley
Heralded linebacker Glen Stanley was released by the University of Southern California and is free to transfer, perhaps to Florida State. He reportedly is visiting FSU today and could -- and should -- make a decision soon; teams are getting ready to start their preseason camps.
If Stanley does opt for the Seminoles, his arrival figures to be fortuitous. Junior Nigel Carr was arrested earlier this week and faces felony and misdemeanor charges. Any student-athlete facing a felony is automatically suspended, barring extraordinary circumstances.
