Virginia Tech-Boise State most viewed college football game in ESPN history
For years, Florida State was the television ratings darling for ESPN.
The Seminoles games against Miami in 2006, 2009 and 1994 and the Seminoles game against Clemson in 2007 were among the most viewed college football games in the network's history. But an ACC partner has the record now.
Virginia Tech and Boise State drew an ESPN high of 7,251,601 households on Labor Day night and, with a rating of 7.3, has tied the 2009 USC-Ohio State game, as the highest rated college game since the FSU-Miami game earned a 7.7 in 1994. Here's the list of ESPN's most viewed college games:
1. Virginia Tech-Boise State (2010) 7,251,601 households
