News: 50 Cent, Between The Buried And Me, Bowerbirds and more
-- Prog-metal kids Between The Buried And Me, above, are coming to the State Theatre on Feb. 3, alongside Cynic, Devin Townsend and Scale the Summit. (Hey, when Owl City left, they had to bring in someone.) Tickets are $16-$18, and they go onsale Friday.
-- Phil Vassar returns to the Dallas Bull on Nov. 13. Tickets are $9.95 in advance, $15 at the door. Go here for details.
-- North Carolina folkies Bowerbirds have announced a Feb. 10 gig at New World Brewery.
-- Phil Lee, a man who's been called "the best songwriter in Nashville," will perform a free Vinyl Fever in-store gig at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15, before performing at the Gram's Place hostel in Tampa.
-- According to tbt* paparazzo Luis Santana, 50 Cent was in Tampa on Thursday for in-studio interviews with Wild 94.1 and 93.3-FLZ. Check out some pics here. Any of you guys get to hang with him? (DJ Sandman sure did.)
