Torche drops out of Friday's Tampa Pro party at the Ritz Ybor
Bad news, stoner-metal fans: Florida rockers Torche have dropped out of Friday's Tampa Pro 2010 Party at the Ritz Ybor due to what promoters are calling "injury of the drummer." Ugh. We had that once, and it ain't pretty.
Disappointed though we are, we can totally understand how this might happen. When we saw Torche at Czar last summer, drummer Rick Smith was off the chain behind the kit, shirtless and sweaty and banging his drum set like Animal from the Muppets.
The Tampa Pro 2010 party will still be a wild night, though, with F---ed Up in the house, as well as Trash Talk and Forgetters. Tickets to the show are $15.50. Click here for details.
