30 Seconds to Mars cancel Ritz Ybor concert

30.seconds.to.mars
We here at SoundcheckCorp. have no problem re-publishing the above photo of Jared Leto. This is because we are all too happy to make him look like a complete tool, now that he's gone and canceled his band's upcoming Tampa concert.

Yes, 30 Seconds to Mars have called off their Oct. 15 date at the Ritz Ybor, less than two weeks after announcing it in the first place. The reason given? "Routing." We think that means other cities are more important than us. (It's fine, Jared, you didn't really fit in with this Hip October Concerts theme we've got going anyway.)

At least you can still see their opening act, New Politics, on Aug. 5 at the Orpheum, alongside Funeral Party. Tickets are only $8.50. Click here to purchase.

Take a good, hard look at the man you see before you, Tampa Bay. Can we all agree that perhaps it's a good thing this concert isn't going to happen?

50 Concerts

50rockWhy would anyone voluntarily attempt to see 50 concerts at 50 different venues in a single summer? Jay Cridlin shrugged and thought: Eh, why not.
