2017 Clearwater Jazz Holiday Lineup: Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Avett Brothers and more
Tag teams, hootenannies and mix-'em-ups aplenty are on the bill for this year's Clearwater Jazz Holiday.
The Avett Brothers (above); co-headlining bills by Kenny Loggins with Michael McDonald and the Four Tops with the Temptations; and genre-melding viral phenomenon Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox lead the lineup for the 2017 Holiday, Oct. 19-22 at Coachman Park in Clearwater.
Joining them are retro rock 'n' soul band the James Hunter Six, swing group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Southern soul singer Anderson East and more.
Opportunity abounds for collaborations at this year's fest, including McDonald and Loggins teaming up for This Is It or What a Fool Believes; or the Four Tops and Temptations coming out for an encore together, or any number of surprise acts to pop in with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. (It's unknown yet if Bradlee, who doesn't always join the group on the road, will be here for this show, but they often bring guest vocalists.)
Tickets to the 2017 Clearwater Jazz Holiday go on pre-sale at 1 p.m. today, and on sale to the general public at noon Thursday. Advance general admission starts at $16, reserved seating at $45, VIP at $170. Click here for details.
