SoundBytes: The Struts, Big Freedia, Riff Raff, Bad Bunny and more

— British glam-rockers the Struts will open for the Foo Fighters at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on April 25, according to the venue. The show's sold out, but just FYI if you're going.

— The queen of New Orleans bounce, Big Freedia, will return to the Orpheum on March 29. Tickets are $18 and up. Click here.

— Rapper Riff Raff will perform at Crowbar on March 2. Tickets are $20 and up. Click here.

AJJ (formerly known as Andrew Jackson Jihad) will perform at the Orpheum on Feb. 23 with Shellshag and John Hays. Tickets are $18 and up. Click here.

— Puerto Rican trap star Bad Bunny is playing Orlando's Amway Center on April 29. Tickets go on sale Jan. 19. Click here.

Toad the Wet Sprocket singer Glen Phillips will return to the Hideaway Cafe in St. Petersburg on April 17. Tickets are $30. Click here.

— Late February is going to be busy at Skipper's Smokehouse, with shows just scheduled by Chuck Prophet on Feb. 21 ($20 and up, click here), Unknown Hinson and J.D. Wilkes on Feb. 23 ($15 and up, click here) and Southern Culture on the Skids on Feb. 24 ($15 and up, click here).

— Interesting venue alert: Country singer Stephanie Quayle will be performing at the KOA campground in St. Petersburg at 6 p.m. Jan. 18. Admission is a $10 donation for Care Camps. Click here for details.

— In case you missed it, this year's Wild 94.1 Wild Splash will take place March 3 at Coachman Park in St. Petersburg. No headliners have been announced yet (although at last fall's Last Damn Show, program director Orlando Davis announced Jessie Reyez would be among them).
