You can debate what the best decade was for rock all day long, but it’s hard to dispute the 1980s hair-band heyday as the one most dedicated to pure, unadulterated feelin’ good.

That’s the vibe we can assume will come along with frontman Bret Michaels and Poison when it plays Al Lang Field in St. Petersburg for the Nothing But a Good Time Tour stop in St. Petersburg on June 29.

The band behind such let-loose songs as “Nothin’ But a Good Time,” “Talk Dirty to Me,” “Unskinny Bop” and, of course, that quintessential rock ballad “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” will be joined by opener Pop Evil.

Tickets, priced at $125, $99.50, $89.50, $59.50, and $49.50, go on sale April 13 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com and at the Al Lang Field box office.
