Here's a show that might actually sell out in five seconds.
Australian pop-punk boy toys 5 Seconds of Summer are playing a string of undersized venues on their upcoming tour of North America, and they just announced one in Florida: Sept. 18 at the House of Blues in Orlando.
While it's been a minute since 5SOS splashed the pop charts, the band's bona fides opening for One Direction and headlining arenas and amphitheaters in their own right mean they could probably sell out a building three times the size of the House of Blues. That means tickets for this show won't last long.
The new tour dates come in support of their third album Youngblood, due June 22. Tickets to the Orlando show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, and don't be surprised if you get shut out. Click here and here for details.
On the plus side, maybe they'll announce a bigger summer tour next year, and maybe that'll come to Tampa. Stash away a little extra allowance just in case.
