For the second straight year, one of the most eclectic music festivals in Florida will be taking place in Live Oak.
Suwannee Hulaween just announced the lineup for its 2018 edition, coming Oct. 26-28 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, and it features a slew of performers who don't often play down our way, which makes it eminently road trippable.
Joining hosts the String Cheese Incident, who will play three straight nights, will be electronic acts Odesza, Rezz, Tipper; Gramatik and NGHTMRE; funk-pop acts Janelle Monae and Jamiroquai (playing one of only five U.S. shows announced for 2018); rock acts the Revivalists, Vulfpeck, Bishop Briggs and Dr. Dog; and jam favorites Lettuce, Galactic, STS9 and Medeski, Martin and Wood.
Other notable names on the bill: Mavis Staples, Action Bronson, Stephen Marley, Trampled By Turtles, Tory Lanez, Lizzo, TroyBoi, Yonder Mountain String Band and Tampa Bay bands Come Back Alice and the Applebutter Express. The show will also feature a Thursday night pre-party on Oct. 25 featuring Joe Russo's Almost Dead, STS9, Lettuce, the Infamous Stringdusters and more.
Three-day festival tickets are on sale now for $269 and up. That includes primitive camping; if you wish to bring a car to your campsite, that's extra.
