Nicki Minaj's long-awaited 2018 tour announcement will, unfortunately, leave local fans wanting more. Once again, it appears she'll be skipping Tampa Bay, an area she hasn't played since 2010.
But the news isn't all bad, because she is coming to Orlando.
The rapper and singer is teaming up with fellow hip-hop heavyweight Future for the "NickiHndrxx Tour," and it includes a stop at Orlando's Amway Center on Oct. 20. Ticket prices haven't been announced, but according to Minaj, they'll go on sale Friday.
The tour will arrive on the heels of Minaj's long-gestating fourth studio album, Queen, featuring the hit Chun-Li. Its release date was recently pushed back from this week to August.
It is possible they could add more dates, including Tampa — Minaj tweeted that an Atlanta tour date will arrive next week — but at this point, it doesn't seem likely as part of this first North American leg.
