— It's a joyous day for fans of brainy, alt-countryish indie rock, as one of the genre's queens, Neko Case, has finally announced a concert (her first?) in Tampa. She'll play at the Orpheum in Tampa on Feb. 1 (which isn't great because that's the same night Lucinda Williams plays Jannus Live, and who wants to choose between Neko and Lucinda?). Tickets will go on sale soon. Click here.

— And another acclaimed indie artist, Car Seat Headrest, is coming to Tampa for what also appears to be the first time. That show is Feb. 23 at the Orpheum; Naked Giants open. Click here.

— Some familiar faces making return trips to Tampa Bay: The worship artists of Winter Jam, which returns to Amalie Arena on Jan. 12. "Newsboys United," a supergroup made up of past and present members of Newsboys, will headline, along with Danny Gokey, Mandisa, Rend Collective, Ledger, Hollyn, Ty Brasel, Manic Drive, Dan Bremnes, Audio Adrenaline's Adam Agee and more. Winter Jam is a ticketless event requiring only a $15 donation at the door. Click here for info.

— Indie rockers STRFKR are coming to the Ritz Ybor on March 16. Click here.

— EDM artist G Jones is coming to the Orpheum on Feb. 7. Click here.

— Former kid actor turned singer-songwriter Drake Bell is coming to Crowbar on Dec. 5. Tickets are $16 and up. Click here.
