Andrea Bocelli coming to Amalie Arena in Tampa
He is one of the most in-demand voices in the world, and he's got a second home in South Florida.
That may be why, year after year, Tampa's Amalie Arena keeps landing concerts by Andrea Bocelli.
The universally renowned Italian Tenor will come back to Tampa on Feb. 11. It'll be his third local concert in the last five years, following shows in 2013 and 2011. This time around, he'll be joined by soprano Maria Aleida and conductor Eugene Kohn leading the Bella Musica Orchestra.
As you would expect when it comes to hearing one of the most beloved classical voices in the world, these are always hot tickets, even though they're among the priciest of any event staged at Amalie Arena. Cheap seats (if such a thing could be said to exist at an Andrea Bocelli concert) start at $75 and go all the way up to $365. But comes time for him to sing Time to Say Goodbye live, won't any price be worth it?
Tickets go on sale to the public on Nov. 13, although there will be an exclusive pre-sale for Chase debit and credit card holders starting at 10 a.m. Nov. 9. All ticket purchases come with a copy of Bocelli's album Cinema, a collection of classic themes from films like The Godfather and Love Story.
