Armin van Buuren coming to the Amphitheatre in Ybor City

Forget Skrillex. Forget David Guetta. Forget deadmau5, Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and all those other hitmakers who are partying down in Miami this weekend and next.

According to the website DJ Mag, the world’s best DJ is Dutch trance king Armin van Buuren. And if you want to see him, good news — he’ll be returning to Ybor City this spring.

Van Buuren will perform at the Amphitheatre on May 9. Considering he’s headlining Madison Square Garden in March, that’s a pretty significant show. Tickets are a whopping $45-$50, but hey, that’s the price of greatness, right? Click here for details.

Van Buuren isn’t the only big-name EDM act coming to the Amp this spring. You can also look for Kill the Noise (April 5), Dirty South (April 20), Delta Heavy (April 26), Tritonal (May 5) and Borgore (May 10). Rappers Machine Gun Kelly (March 23) and Curren$y (April 21) also have shows booked there. Click here for the Amp's full slate.

And then there’s the Sunset Music Festival on May 25 at Raymond James Stadium. So far, only one DJ has been announced, but it’s a big one: Steve Aoki. Look for a full lineup later this month.
