Billy Joel coming to the Amway Center in Orlando
Floridians are spoiled when it comes to Billy Joel.
The legendary singer-songwriter can be a reticent live performer, but year after year, he books winter shows in some of Florida's biggest markets, including Tampa this past January.
Last week he announced a New Year's Eve show (another Joel tradition) at the BB&T Center in South Florida. And on Wednesday, it was announced he's returning to Orlando's Amway Center on Jan. 27.
"This is guaranteed to be another epic night that you won't want to miss," Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer said at a press conference announcing the show. (That's another Joel quirk -- full-scale press conferences to announce his concerts, which is something no other artist demands.)
An American Express pre-sale begins Oct. 17, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Oct. 21. They'll start at $49.50 via Ticketmaster. Click here.
