Blues Traveler to headline Tampa Bay Margarita Festival in Curtis Hixon Park
Happy National Margarita Day, everyone! To celebrate, the Tampa Bay Margarita Festival has unveiled its 2016 headliner: Blues Traveler.
John Popper and his harmonica-poppin' partners will top the bill at the 2016 Margarita Fest, May 28 at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa. Local acts the Black Honkeys, Mighty Mongo, Supros, Phase5, Lovestruck Robot and Lions After Dark are also on the bill.
The event, which last year drew a crowd of 12,000, features an array of margaritas from numerous bartenders and mixologists, as well as food vendors, entertainment and more. In honor of National Margarita Day, Monday is the last day you can buy tickets at pre-sale pricing -- $14 and up. Click here. The ticket deal isn't the only way the Margarita Fest is celebrating National Margarita Day. They'll be giving away tickets to the festival today from 6 to 7 p.m. at Tequilas in Ybor City, 7 to 8 p.m. at Miguelitos Taqueria y Tequila in Tampa, and 8 to 9 p.m. at the Green Lemon in Tampa. They'll also be giving away tickets to the Gasparilla Music Festival, Gasparilla Film Festival and Spring Beer Fling.
