Bon Jovi's David Bryan and Tico Torres talk Valentine's Day, losing Richie Sambora and more
When Bon Jovi takes the stage tonight at Tampa's Amalie Arena, it'll be quite a Valentine's Day treat for many longtime fans. Even if the band will be without iconic guitarist Richie Sambora.
"It's a different thing, but there's new life, and I think when you have new people, you have new energy," said keyboardist David Bryan. "We had some wonderful years with Richie, but if he wants to move on in his direction, it's one of those things that you can't avoid. And we carry on because the premise of this record This House Is Not for Sale is the roots, and the fact that we're still together and strong and love playing music together."
The band performs at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Amalie Arena. Click here for details.
